OEM Production Solutions
Aero Engineering supports OEM production applications for current aircraft platforms. We work with our customers to implement mutually beneficial contracts and schedules supporting monthly production requirements from 1 to 1000 or more. Our current OEM product lines encompass all aspects of our internal and external production capabilities included CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and sewing. We provide turnkey production support including raw materials, processing, and full certification packages as needed to support all customer requirements.
Aftermarket MRO Support Solutions
Aero Engineering supports a diverse array of products for legacy platforms. Your Mission is our Mission is not just a catchy saying, it is the core to how we manage this portion of our business. In today’s world, inventory is looked upon as a liability. At Aero we consider it an obligation. We are constantly reviewing global RFQ and Ordering patterns tied to the platforms that we support. This allows us to make manufacturing and procurement decisions based on fleet wide usage rather than Aero specific order history. Because of this philosophy, we have one of the highest “in-stock” response rates amongst our peers.
Inventory Management Solutions
Aero provides our OEM and aftermarket customers with a variety of options to support their needs. We have the warehousing and materials management infrastructure in place to provide services including:
Min/Max and Safety Stock programs
Supplier Managed Inventory programs
On-demand inventory programs typically in conjunction with Just In Time (JIT) delivery
Build to forecast, EDI feeds (currently limited to OEM/LTA customers)
Approved Parts Supplier
Aero is an approved parts supplier for a number of hard to find/limited availability items primarily for the C-130 (B-H), P-3, and F-16 programs. These products fit into a unique niche that requires Aero to validate, and in some cases transform COTS items into customer specific part numbers through secondary validation, minor modification (i.e. part marking, re-packaging), kitting or other configuration specific to the controlled part number or other qualification requirements. We are actively partnered with the three largest distributors of parts supporting these platforms, Derco, Blue Aerospace, and MHD-Rockland.
